WSI (Water Safety Instruction)

Service Description

This course prepares participants to become certified swim instructors through the American Red Cross. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to proficiently swim all four competitive strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). Participants must also demonstrate the ability to float for one minute on both their front and back. The course focuses on teaching techniques, safety skills, lesson planning, and effective instruction methods. Upon successful completion, participants may be considered for a position as an M2O Swim instructor!
