M2O Parent & Me
This class is an introductory class for babies and infants 6 months to two years old to develop a positive relationship with the water. Parents and guardians will accompany the children in the water to learn the very basic skills to enhance safety in the water. Parents will have the ability to learn how to be aware of the child's needs while in the water as well as learn the correct ways to hold and play in the water. The babies and infants will be introduced to all the new skills such as floating, going under water, kicking and scooping by singing songs and playing games. (6 swimmer maximum, 30 minute class)
M2O Youth Beginner,
This class is a beginner level class from the ages of 3 years old to 5 years old. This class is designed to help each swimmer develop a positive relationship with the water without a parent with them.These swimmers often have apprehension in the water, our instructors will teach students mindful techniques to help relax and learn control. Each class swimmers will be learning the water safety skills including entry and exit of the pool, floating on their back and front, use of equipment and being aware of their surroundings. In the class the swimmers will also focus on learning the proper body position and movements to ensure movement productivity. (4 swimmer maximum, 30 minute class)
M2O Youth Advanced,
This class is geared towards a more advanced swimmer. Swimmers at this level are expected to be able to independently; float on their back and stomach, swim for 5 yards, become fully submerged while exhaling and safely enter and exit the pool. Swimmers will learn how to be conscious of their surroundings while swimming and be mindful as to how their movements can manipulate the water. At this level the swimmers will be focusing on correct breathing patterns in their strokes- Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke. (4 swimmer maximum, 30 minute class)
